Modular houses are becoming more and more popular - what is behind their success?

If we just look around the groups of people building their new apartment, it is not difficult to notice that the topics they often raise are colloquially called modular homes. Modular construction allows for the quick and stress-free erection of the building, which primarily translates into savings. After all, time is money!

Our modular house can be built as early as 14-18 weeks after order confirmation, and thanks to the fact that most of the work is done on our own production line, the risk of delays is minimized. Prefabricated homes, although produced quickly, are extremely solid and will last for many years. Therefore, it is not an option for a several-year-old summer house, but for its own four angles that will bravely stand the test of time and weather conditions.

While building a modular home is quick, that doesn't mean it's easy

Currently, MW Construction consists of about 30 people. Among them, there are both technologists, constructors and qualified employees responsible for creating a finished product, which is, of course, a modular house. The production hall, where houses are made from prefabricated modules, is equipped with modern equipment and a technologically advanced production line. Thanks to the use of both the strength of the employees' muscles and the computing power of computers, we can pride ourselves in a fast execution time.

The prefabricated house is almost entirely an original product of our company. We start, of course, by outlining what a given building should look like - the house design is the basis. Then the creation process begins, and we send an order for window and door joinery to the company cooperating with us. This is the only element that we do not deal with personally. When all the elements are ready, the modular home goes to the construction site, where they are put together.

What do prefab houses have to offer?

Of course, behind the fashion for prefabricated houses is not only the fast turnaround time but also the fact that they have a lot to offer. Modules do not have to be limited only to creating a 35m2 house. Our portfolio includes structures that exceed one hundred square meters! The space that a modular house has is very ergonomic and there are absolutely no problems with arranging it.

A big advantage that characterizes modern houses made of modules is the low heat transfer coefficient. This means that a house made of prefabricated modues does not require huge expenses for heating, because the technologies used in it make it retain most of the heat in its walls and not emit it to the environment.
